The precalculus book I ordered arrived in excellent condition. It was in very condition as reported in the description of the book. This revision is an excellent alternative to the 5th edition which is much more expensive.
I compared thr two versions and found that revision 5 has been rearranged somewhat and additional chapter tests have been added. I use the book as a tutor supplement and it is excellent for this purpose.

I am a High School teacher, and I like this book. It has a ton of examples and lots of practice problems. It is written at a very high level (which can be good or bad, depending.) I would recommend getting the solutions manual that comes with it, even though the odd answers are in the back of the textbook.
